How venturi scrubbers reduce particulate matter emissions?
Netsol’s venturi scrubbers are made to remove flue and process gases, as well as heavy and light airborne particulate matter, from exhaust systems. High-speed water and particulate-filled air streams are combined in venturi scrubbers, to transfer the particulates into the water stream.
Then, centrifugal separation and mist elimination processes are used to remove the water droplets, and other particles from the air stream.

Our Venturi Air Scrubbers are currently running constantly with great efficiency, in numerous types of industrial applications. Numerous of these devices are capable of eliminating different kinds of airborne particulates, with efficiency of up to 99.9%, even under conditions of high particulate loading.
For a range of applications, Netsol excels in both wet and dry particulate collection.
A venturi scrubbing device is created to remove oil and particulates from a contaminated air stream, at an automotive production facility, including
· Systems for Multi-Stage Scrubbing using Venturi Scrubbers
· With a Packed Tower Scrubber, a Venturi Scrubber is used
Our Venturi Particulate Air Scrubbers are frequently part of a larger treatment system that also uses filters, packed tower scrubbers, cyclonic separators, and other processes.Additionally, these feature a very distinctive venturi scrubber design that works well, for a range of in-plant dust collection applications.
Dual Throat Venturi Air Scrubber
The Dual Throat Venturi Air Scrubber is an entirely self-contained machine that just needs to be linked, to the standard plant air, water, and electrical systems. The Dual Throat Scrubber, which can handle a variety of dry, wet, sticky, tacky, and oily particulate loads, is one of the most adaptable venturi scrubber designs on the market. The device is also a great option for situations involving explosive dust.
Clean air recirculation can lower climate control costs
Many installations, including metal finishing, grinding, foundry operations, and buffing and polishing, allow for the recirculation of clean, contaminant-free air back into the work area. This lowers the price of plant ventilation systems and minimizes the requirement for climate control.
Adjustable dual throat scrubbers
By applying an initial surface impingement shock to significant inlet dirt loads, the Venturi Air Scrubber eliminates airborne particulate, using a high volume wash water injector system.
Working of venturi scrubber with dual throats
The incoming air is channelled through the fixed and dual adjustable scrubbing throats, where high velocity atomization occurs. The twin mouths, which are simply adjustable, balance the air flow system's pressure drop during start-up, or after modifications to the system.
This design element avoids the need for blast gates and ductwork dampers, which are subject to particulate build-up and necessitate routine maintenance. Additionally, the system's overall effectiveness is enhanced by the greater pressure drop in the wash zone.
Moisture eliminators in a double row
The air strikes the liquid surface as it moves through the turbulent dual throat wash zone, switches course, and then enters a sizable, double-row moisture eliminator area. The wash liquid reservoir tank receives the water droplets that were in the airstream, and drains them back there.
The dry, clean air is subsequently expelled through exhaust ducts or returned to the work area.
Minimum requirements for wash liquid
Under typical operating circumstances, concerns with waste water disposal are eliminated. Each device contains a recirculating pump and a self-contained wash liquid reservoir. Evaporation-related loss of wash liquid is replaced by an automated water valve.
Oil recovery units offer extra wash liquid cleaning for more effective heavy, settled particulate removal via optional motorised drag conveyors.
Resources used in construction
For the majority of applications, mild steel is used to build dual throat venturi air scrubbers. However, different building materials, such as stainless steel or reinforced fibreglass, as well as specialized coatings, are available where the intended application would include corrosive or extremely abrasive pollutants.
Additionally, materials suited for the desired application, such as polyethylene or stainless steelare used, in the construction of moisture eliminators.
Power controls
To satisfy the unique needs of the customer, complete electrical controls are offered.
There are numerous configurations.
Dual Throat Venturi Air Scrubbers can be set up to satisfy certain requirements. Drag conveyors and oil recovery units can be added to units, to remove accumulated oil and heavy, settled particulate.
We also provide a number of alternative wet air scrubber design choices, such as:
· Packed Bed Wet Scrubbers
· Multi-Stage Scrubbing Systems
· Multiple Venturi Air Scrubbers
